Research finds a clear and compelling link between animal abuse and other violent acts. Animal abuse does not only hurt animals; it affects our entire community that we tend to forget or simply ignore, this is where PAWS in Action Inc., formerly known as CDO Pet Adoption comes in to bring people together to save animals in need and to create an environment free from animal cruelty.

Our main reason of making our organization legal is that we have received many reports regarding animal cruelty in form of abuse and neglect and we want to take actions.  When taking action, just as there are laws that apply to people, there is a huge body of law that applies to orgsnizations. I believe that organizations need these laws for the same reasons that people do: to define unacceptable behavior, to provide certainty and stability, to protect us and the public, and to provide a mechanism for organizations to resolve disputes.

One of thr founders (who wishes not to be mentioned), fell in depression late year 2016, and amidst the issue found a dog early year 2017 that was abused and physically wounded. She felt empathy towards the dog because she felt the same situation with the dog.

“One day, I found a very tiny señior dog who was abused with cut-ears, wounds all over her body and severe mange. She was also dehydrated and very hungry. I started feeding her and decided few weeks later to bring her inside my house,” she said.

That simple act of compassion towards 1 dog helped her renew her faith in humanity. “ We are all born receptive to love, kindness and hope. But as we grow old, we lose hope in humanity mainly because of our personal interactions and experiences, but by showing compassion for animals we automatically instill for our fellow humans compassion and bring everyone together regardless of race, colour, nationality or ethnicity.”

Adding that, “Compassion for all animals brings with it benefits to diet and health, the environment and our relationships with other people.”

The group has faces many challenges. “Our biggest challenge is how to  keep ourselves preserve. We maintain selfless purpose and action. But we are humans and we are perils of being selfish. Only when we keep our eyes to God, we will not fall apart.”

My message to everyone. “Let us all make this world a little heaven for both humans amd animals.”
