Crazy is the New Normal!

When was the last time you checked your sanity? The director and writer of the successful movies “JOWABLE” and “PAGLAKI KO, GUSTO KO MAGING PORNSTAR”, Darryl Yap is back with another breakthrough and intriguing movie, “TILILING”. This time he takes on the timely topic of mental health and asks, “Who are the real crazy ones?”

TILILING is about three interns, Maricel (Candy Pangilinan), Espie (Donnalyn Bartolome) and Jessa (Yumi Lacsamana), who are assigned in an asylum. There, they meet three mental patients: Socorro (Gina Pareño) the comfort woman, Peter (Baron Geisler) the orphan, and Bernie (Chad Kinis) the arsonist, and they all have their versions of awful experiences in life. Thru their stories, the interns get to enter their world and learn their painful experiences. In the end, this made them question if the patients are really the crazy ones or them.

In TILILING, Director Darryl Yap serves movie audiences with a never before seen genre-bending film, and he does it impeccably with his great cast of fresh and veteran actors. You can never go wrong with talented and experienced actors like Gina Pareño, Baron Geisler and Candy Pangilinan; and it’s refreshing to see young and promising talents like Donnalyn Bartolome, Yumi Lacsamana and Chad Kinis take on challenging roles.

With its intriguing title and cast, the movie’s teaser clips easily reached over 1 million views on Facebook. And when the official movie trailer was released, it instantly gathered 1 million views in less than 24 hours. And as to date, TILILING’s movie trailer has over 2.4 million views and has 42,000 shares on Facebook. With its much-anticipated release, TILILING is also one of the trending topics discussed on social media sites.
