GINGOOG City Vice Mayor Peter M. Unabia, during the regular session of the Sangguniang Pamlungsod on Monday, favored as he urged the proponent of a proposed ordinance: “Regulating the Use of the Gingoog Children’s Play Hub for the inclusion of the No Vaccination No Entry for the parents or any guardian.”

ABC President Robert de Lara suggested the inclusion of the No Vaccination No Entry Policy in protecting families and their children against Covid-19 entering the Children’s Playing Hub of the city.

City Councilor Judeline I. Bernaldez chairperson of the committee on tourism, authored the proposed ordinance agreed on the suggestion as initiated by Councilor de Lara to include the No Vaccination No Entry Policy.

The proposed ordinance has been approved by the majority in the third reading.

If signed into an ordinance this will be the first government-owned facility having a policy that no one will be allowed to enter inside the premises without the vaccination card, said City Councilor Bernaldez who authored the proposed local law.

Bernaldez, who also seeking her third term in office under the tandem of former Mayor Marie Guingona and City Councilor Taddeus Lugod in the Unity Party, expressed thanks to Unabia for the suggestion of the inclusion of her proviso “without any objection.”

The Gingoog Children’s Playing Hub, located at Barangay 16, this city, will be managed and controlled by the City Tourism Office, said Bernaldez.
