A 59-year-old housewife was rushed to the hospital after she was stabbed by her own nephew several times to the different parts of her body over a heated argument Monday.
Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Police Provincial Director, identified the victim as Angelina ‘Gaga’ Loking, married, and residing at Purok 1, Spring, Kibawe of the said province.
While the suspect was also identified as Jason Pepito alias Jie-Jie, of legal age, and residing at the same address.
In a police report it was revealed that prior to the stabbing incident, the victim and the suspect were engaged in a heated argument.
Already angry, the suspect pulled out an 11-inched kitchen knife and stabbed his aunt several times to the body.
After the incident, the suspect fled away heading towards Sitio New Cebu of the said barangay.
The victim, who sustained several stabbed wounds, was rushed by her neighbors to Bukidnon Provincial Hospital in Kibawe for treatment.
The police report did not mention whether the victim is still in critical condition.
Kibawe police are still conducting a hot pursuit operation against the suspect for his arrest.
