Yassi Pressman continues to make the rounds in different places nationwide as she campaigns for AP Partylist #AkoyPilipino, a partylist advocating for the transport and livelihood sector.

The AP Team on March 13, Sunday, started the day with a visit to Tubod, Iligan  and an event in Iligan City Plaza. From Iligan, Pressman and AP Partylist visited the towns of Gigaquit and Claver in Surigao del Norte to continue their campaign trail. “Hindi po kami ang party-list na lumalabas lang kapag eleksyon. Alam po ito ni Yassi at nagpapasalamat kami na nakasama namin kayo mula pa noong simula ng pandemya. Sabay-sabay tayong nag-bayanihan para sa kapwa nating mga kababayan, at patuloy lang natin itong gagawin,” AP Partylist first nominee, Rep. Ronnie Ong said in his message to the Surigaonons. Ong was nicknamed “the frontliner Congressman” by PeopleAsia because of his out-of-the-box COVID19 Bayanihan programs that goes beyond the policy work of a legislator. Programs like #LibrengGulay which supplied community kitchens in Metro Manila with vegetables from Benguet, #LibrengSakay which serviced health workers from various hospitals to their residences, #LibrengTablets for public school teachers, as well as established 36 E-skwela Hub e-learning centers nationwide for free wifi and PC use of students.

The AP Team also visited the island of Siargao where they assisted and partnered with local community kitchens in ongoing feeding programs for those still affected by Typhoon Odette. Both animal welfare advocates, Yassi Pressman and AP Partylist Rep. Ronnie Ong ended their visit in Siargao with a free spay and neuter event, and established a Community PAWntry for the island dogs with Pawssion Project PH and Puppy Puddle Siargao.
