A MOTORELA driver and a security guard are now languishing in jail after they were arrested for selling illegal drugs, Monday evening, this week.

Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Police Provincial Director, identified the suspects as Frederic Lim alias ‘Poloy,’ 39, married, and a resident of Purok 3, North Poblacion, Maramag of the said province.

He was on duty as a security guard assigned at JB Fuels gas station located at Purok 7, North Poblacion of the said municipality when the arrest took effect.

Also arrested was tricycle driver David Lizandro, 44, married, and a resident of Purok 12, South Poblacion of the same municipality of the said province.

Lagare said the suspects were arrested by personnel of Maramag Municipal Police Station under the supervision of Police Lt. Col. Julius Clark Macariola at around 10 pm while at the said place.

A poseur buyer was able to negotiate a drug deal with Lim which was conspired by Lizandro.

Taken from them were six sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated value of P6,800, two mobile phones, and a .38 caliber service revolver of Lim.

Lizandro’s driven motorela was impounded by the Maramag police as additional evidence.

The suspects are now under custody at Maramag police awaiting the filing of charges.
