LOCAL state security forces today gathered in their respective camps and headquarters to cast their votes ahead of the May 9 National and Local Elections.

Under the local absentee voting, registered voters are allowed to vote for national candidates ― from President down to senators and partylist only.

The police officers and soldiers cast their votes simultaneously in their respective camps. For the police officers, they cast their votes at Camp Vicente Alagar in Barangay Lapasan, Camp General Nicolas Capistrano in Barangay Gusa, and Maharlika Headquarters in Barangay 40. The soldiers cast their vote in Camp Edilberto Evangelista in Barangay Patag.

Commission on Elections-Cagayan de Oro officer Atty. Rowell B. Valledor oversaw the voting process by going around the camps and headquarters.
