They were nabbed in entrapment operations at Manto Drive, Macajalar, Barangay Camaman-an and in Barangay 35, Cagayan de Oro City.

Roa was the first to be arrested while at Barangay 35. The following day, Tabobo and his minor companion were also arrested in Barangay Camaman-an.

Seized from Roa were three different sizes of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less 100 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P680,000 and various drug paraphernalia.

The raiding team also confiscated from Tabobo and his companion two different sizes of sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less 100 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price also of P680,000 and drug paraphernalia.

Police Brig. General Lawrence Coop, the regional director, lauded the operating unit for a job well done.

“I commend the operating unit for the successful conduct of the operations that led to the arrest of the said drug personalities,” Coop said.

He told police to keep the momentum towards attaining a drug-cleared community in the region. He said he believes that with the support of the community and other agencies, the people will gradually achieve a place where peace and progress would prevail.

“Life is beautiful kaya ‘wag nating sayangin ang ating buhay dahil lamang sa iligal na droga, sama-sama tayong sugpuin ito. Kaming mga pulis ay kasama ninyo,” Coop added.
