ORGANIZED by Lilak Purple Action for Indigenous Women’s Rights, indigenous women from different tribal communities across the country gathered at City Hall’s Duaw Park and later transferred to Barangay Lumbia in commemoration of Women’s Month, yesterday.

Bannering the theme: “Panagsal-aw: Ipagdiwang ang Sama-Samang Lakas ng Katutubong Kababaehan,” the indigenous women are calling for the immediate end to all violence, discrimination, and violation of their rights.
