A momentous occasion unfolded as two successive ceremonial groundbreaking and capsule laying ceremonies marked a significant stride towards advancing education in Misamis Oriental.

With his strong commitment to his Paglaum Development Agenda, Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia facilitated the allocation of P9.9 million in funds for a two-story, 4-classroom project building at Kalangahan Elementary School in Lugait.

Special Assistant to the Governor, Virgelia “Bing” Dumadag, alongside Lugait Mayor Honorable Willie Lim, facilitated the ceremonial event. This initiative symbolizes the province’s unwavering dedication to providing modern, conducive, and quality learning environments for the youth.

In parallel, another groundbreaking ceremony took place at Patag Elementary School in Manticao, with a budget allocation of P10 million.

This project underscores the province’s commitment to enhancing educational facilities. Manticao Mayor Stephen Tan, an advocate for educational development, joined hands with Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia in supporting this initiative. The new two-story, 4-classroom building at Patag Elementary School represents a pledge to empower students with dynamic educational spaces.

In both Lugait and Manticao, these back-to-back groundbreaking events lay the foundation for a brighter future for the youth of Misamis Oriental. They signify a resolute investment in quality education infrastructure and a promise of a better tomorrow.
