NORTHERN Mindanao Region-12 (NMR-12) Bagwis Dos chartered governor Eric Daabay on Tuesday revealed that the Fraternal Order of Eagles – Philippine Eagles Inc. will be holding its very first Mindanao Eagles Convention.

Daabay even highlighted that the upcoming convention signifies the birth of the first Philippine-originated fraternal socio-civic organization to be held in Cagayan de Oro City, which emphasizes the importance of unity and service among its members.

Daabay stated that Eagle Soliven Teo, the Vice President for Mindanao, was the principal proponent of the idea, with backing from the national President, Eagle Ronald Delos Santos.

“Also Eagle Jowell P. Dagang, the Director of the Philippine Eagles Institute of Leadership (PEIL), who is known for being highly supportive of the event,” he said, adding all NMR governors will also host the mentioned convention.

The event is scheduled to be held at the Dynasty Court Hotel on February 17, 2024. It will feature a comprehensive plenary session from 1 pm to 5 pm, followed by a fellowship event from 6 pm to 11 pm.

Daabay announced that those interested in participating can register online and find payment instructions available.

He specified that the early bird registration period runs from January 18 to February 10, 2024, with a fee of P1,500.00, which includes a complimentary polo shirt, mug, snack during the plenary session, and a meal during the fellowship evening.

Registrations made from February 11 to February 17, 2024, will be considered late and will cost P2,000.00, but will still come with the same free items, he explained.

Additionally, the governor said that there is a special registration option for those who wish to only attend the fellowship evening.

This registration costs P800.00, including a mug and dinner for those who register between January 18 and February 10, 2024, and P1,000.00, including a mug for those who register from February 11 onwards.
