“Because of the skills they’ve learned from their short-term course at Tesda in electrical installation and maintenance NC II. Twelve graduates from our region already have jobs in abroad” Acosta proudly said.

“In Tesda, the graduates were able to achieve their dreams of working abroad to help their parents, fund the schooling of their younger brother/sister, and uplift the economic condition of their families” Acosta added.

Electrical installation and maintenance NC II is one of Tesda’s short courses in the Philippines that will train a person in installing and maintaining electrical wiring, lighting and related equipment and systems in residential buildings where the voltage does not exceed 600 volts.

Acosta also reported that another livelihood project beneficiary from the town who is now working as painter was able to improve his living after he had availed himself of a Kabuhayan starter kit from Dole. (PIA)
