At the start of the implementation of the “Brigada Eskwela” campaign in 2013 which is a back-to-school operation where cleanliness and preparedness of the classrooms were ensured, the Laguindingan National High School has been partnering with Moresco-1 in attaining the school preparations for the upcoming school year.
This year, the campaign was implemented last May 18-23 where the electric coop has as one of the school partners. On the 18th, it joined in the caravan as well as in the commencement program facilitated by the national high school and also shared in their celebration during the culmination held on the 23rd. Mr. Ronie Padero, Leadman for Operations and Maintenance in MORESCO-1’s Laguindingan Service Area, together with several linemen represented the campaign.
As one of the partners, Moresco-1 helped out in the dissemination of the information regarding the campaign utilizing its recorida equipment, assisted in pruning the trees within the school’s vicinity through its boom truck and initiated the checking of the electrical connections for every classroom to ensure safety. The power coop’s consistent participation to this campaign is one of the ways of embodying MORESCO-1’s pursuit for social responsibility as well as a realization of its direction towards empowering lives.
