A LOSER in the senatorial elections of 2010 accuses Sen. Grace Llamanzares of being a liar, and, therefore, ineligible to run for a higher public office.

Leading president wannabe, junior Sen. Grace Poe, to many, is now in the hot seat only because of what many would consider as a minor miscalculation if not, a white lie. In fact, were it not for her superb showing as a junior senator and Imperial Manila survey-takers placing her as the leading presidential contender, no one would have even noticed such minor infraction of stating a fact – a natural born citizen.

Based on street talk, Poe is of Filipino parents, hence, a natural born citizen, and, therefore, qualified to run for President. But because politics in our country is the dirtiest of all trade, it now seems that the junior senator would be forced to run as the vice presidential candidate of a sure loser, Mr. Mar Araneta Roxas of the Liberal Party.

But perhaps, the unfolding of events is a blessing in disguise. Were it not for this early revelation, the junior senator would have been hounded by the unfair accusation of “more of the same” from day one of her presidential run. But with the early disqualification case, she would now appear to be unbeatable as a vice presidential candidate as well as in the presidential run in 2022, and the continuing belief among the many Pinoy voters that the presidency is providential in the Philippines would be given credence.

With the presidential contenders reduced significantly, we, Mindanaoans, could now say that indeed the idea of having the next President come from Mindanao has come of age, and therefore, unstoppable. Sobra ka na, Imperial Manila. Sa Mindanao na ta. Tsada, di ba?

Because PNoy has been caught with too many lies despite his mantra “Tuwid na Daan” of selective justice, his anointed presidential bet will certainly be haunted with what Winston Churchill calls “terminological inexactitude.” And because he is perceived to be an arrogant elitist, the voters would treat him just like the way they discarded GMA’s choice in the 2010 presidential elections: Gilberto Teodoro.

Remember? Be that as it may, I’m inclined to believe that at the rate imperial Manila, the trapos and the filthy rich are leading our country to perdition, the situation has opened not just a window but a full-house of opportunities for Mindanao come. Because of Imperial Manila’s fear of having a Mindanaoan as the country’s next President, the lies aired daily have created instead a certain collision course with the masses all over the archipelago. Those are tell-tale signs unwanted by greedy elitists in Malacanang and ought to wake them up from deep slumber. Otherwise, they would be bringing down with them a very popular junior senator.

How fast the changing times are!  In 2010, our country elected a junior senator for being the only son of a dearly beloved President in transition. And everything seemed to work so well that our dream of finally having a Mindanaoan President seemed even more impossible. But God is good!

Now, imperial Manila is in a big fix. And insatiable greed blinds them from seeing the truth that a leader has only as much authority as his followers are willing to give, and that no one but no one can be a leader all the time. At times, he, too, must follow or the sovereign shall recall the authority leased to him even before his term ends.

Now, PNoy is reeling from the debilitating greed by his student council-type of President’s men, women and LGBTs. I can only hope and pray that the messages I’ve repeatedly sent them shall sink in, lock head, and send the peace torpedoes on target. Believe you me, Mindanao’s one and only way is federalism in the entire country, by calling for a constitutional convention simultaneously with the elections on May 9, 2016. Or the Independent Federal Republic Mindanao shall be born and inaugurated. After all, we have what it really takes to be on top of the world––abundant natural resources, gifted world-class leaders, and the leading national advocates for federalism like former Senate President Aquilino Nene Pimentel, former governor and assemblyman Homobono “Bono” Adaza and former no-nonsense mayor and assemblyman Reuben “Ben” Canoy, and of course, strongman of integrity and love for Mindanao, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao. What more can anyone ask for?
Enough of the unabated plunder by the greedy elitists in imperial Manila.

As I’ve kept on harping, Mindanao’s course of nonviolence to self-determination has the full backing of the poor Mindanaoans as well as the United Nations and the ICJ. We need not worry because we have already proven and shown to the world that we can change government without violence even in the face of guns and tanks manned and armed-to-the-teeth by a ruthless dictator.

Thank you Lord for everything. And Lord God, kindly implant especially in our leaders, honesty, humility, transparency and hard work in their solemn task as our servants-leaders because those who have less in life are the sovereign and the very source of their borrowed power and wealth. Finally, Lord, enlighten us all to see the light that greed is a flawed way of life. For truly, there is more profit in giving than in taking. For it is in giving that we receive. Truly, love begets love. Amen!
