Thousands of people will seal the streets of Cagayan de Oro comes August 16, 2015 as the Couples for Christ here in Cagayan de Oro and in Misamis Oriental will hold the ANCOP Annual Global Walk at 5:30 am. The activity will starts at the provincial capitol grounds and will then proceed to its designated destinations.
In a communiqué sent to this paper CFC has invited Cagayanons to be part of this sensible activity in order for the group raise substantial fund that will be used to sponsor underprivileged children sent to school.
ANCOP is one of theCFC organizations that focuses its ministries in serving the underprivileged children fell that there is hope as long as they are still alive.
The acronym ANCOP refers to the group’s ministry itself that is Answering the Cry Of the Poor.
In a phone interview with Ms. Thelma Pacuribot, who works at CFC provincial office located in Barangay Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro, last Wednesday, said that to date Ancop has already served two thousand five hundred children nationwide and the figure increases every year.
Registration for this activity is only P200.00 for adult and P50.00 for youth and the students.
