TACURONG City—Police here are still facing blank wall as to the motive behind the shooting to death of a public school teacher last August 10, 2015 along the national highway at Barangay Kalandagan here.
The victim identified by police as certain Hamide Minda y Balaman, married and a school teacher at Kalandagan Elementary School and a resident of Datu Paglas, Maguindanao.
Witnesses revealed that two unidentified suspects on board a “Kawasaki Baja” motorcycle were seen withdrawn from the crime scene after the incident.
The shooting incident made police to alarm other authorities to conduct check points to apprehend suspects but failed.
Three empty shells were recovered from the crime scene where the victim’s body fell. Information gathered revealed that the victim’s body was taken by his wife and family for burial based on the customs and traditions of Islam.
