THE note beside the body of a murdered man reads: “Kawatan ako, Zaido.”
Police are looking into the possibility that vigilantes are back after they found a murdered man in the bushes near the Macapagal Drive in Upper Carmen, this city, at around 5:30 am yesterday.
PO3 Paul Naces said the victim has yet to be identified by investigators. Scene of the Crime Operatives (Soco) medicolegal chief West Edquila said the victim bore five gunshot wounds––two to the head, two to th chest, and another to the shoulder.
Crime scene investigators found a empty shell and the note at the crime scene. These are being examined at presstime. Nacas said there were signs that the victim was “salvaged” (summary execution).
He noted the the victim’s hands and feet were tied, and some residents told the police they hear gunbursts at around 4 am. (nitz arancon)
