DESPITE being a regular working day, some 30 thousand people flocked at the city’s biggest public cemetery in Camama-an and at least five other cemeteries in the city yesterday alone.

City disaster riskeduction management officer Allan Porcadilla said over 15 thousand people trooped to the city cemetery in Bolonsori, Camaman-an yesterday alone.

Porcadilla said some 10 thousand others also visited Greenhills, Divine Shepherd and the public cemetery in Bulua yesterda while some two thousand people went to the Oro Gardens in Barangay Lumbia, and the Chinese Cemetery in Upper Carmen.

Porcadilla said the city, specifically cemeteries and surrounding areas, were generally peaceful during the observance of All Saints’ Day on Sunday, and All Souls’ Day yesterday.
