CITY hall yesterday announced a P50-thousand reward for anyone who can provide authorities with information that could lead to the arrest of the killer of a teenager in a hotel in Lapasan on Tuesday.

The management of the hotel also pledged a P10-thousand reward for the capture of the suspect who used the names “Jason Caram” and “Jason Caramba,” according to Chief Insp. Ariel Philip Pontillas,  Agora police precinct chief.

“The city government is offering P50,000 cash reward to any person who can provide vital information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect responsible for the gruesome killing…” reads a statement signed by Mayor Oscar Moreno.

Moreno he strongly condemns “to the highest degree the murder of this young lady” even as he appealed to citizens with helpful information to see him or the police.

He said city hall would exhaust all means available to put the killer behind bars.

Pontillas said the management of the hotel was closely coordinating with the police, and has even provided investigators security camera recordings that showed the suspect.

Pontillas said the hotel also provided financial aid for the victim’s family. (nitz arancon and lito rulona)
