Balingoan, Misamis Oriental — Local police had to wrestle with a ‘big’drug suspect in a terminal here. Luckily for the suspect, police applied maximum tolerance.

A suspected drug pusher was arrested on Friday at about 12:00 o’clock noon in a public transporation terminal here during a buy-bust operation conducted by the local police.

Senior Insp. Cesar Sumapig, Jr., local chief of police identified the suspect as Ronilo Bagtong, 33 year old, married, and is resident of Purok 6, Poblacion Giwanon,Talisayan town, Misamis Oriental.

Bagtong took advantage of his bigger body to resist the arresting officers said Sumapig.

The authorities has found five sachets of suspected shabu from the suspect  and three P100 bills used as marked money for the buy-bust operation.

Bagtong is currently detained at the municipal jail.

Bagtong, however, denied owning the illegal drugs taken from him and claimed these were “planted” by the police.
