There was an explosion when three 13.2-kv distribution lines accidentally had contact.

It was due to heavy rains, said Ronnel Cañada, general manager of Moresco II.

The city lost its power supply at around 8:30 pm Wednesday, and Moresco II restored the supply at 3 am Thursday.

“Naputol ang ground wire nga milabyog paingon sa lain nga mga linya hinungdan dunay short circuit, hinungdan sa kusog nga explosion,” he said.

Cañada said a circuit breaker tripped off as a result.
