I READ about it days ago, and then I received this message: “Oscar Moreno’s P53-million plunder case is already signed for execution. But why is it not yet out? This P53-million plunder case involved matters while he was governor of Misamis Oriental.”

So, who went to Davao City and what for? I could only presume that it was Moreno and Co. who went there to sort things out the way he probably did before to delay the release and execution of the order so as to give him ample time to find remedies. The DILG-10 was suspected of being instrumental for the delay in serving the order before. Even former Interior Secretary Sueno, being a Pimentel guy, was perceived to have not acted on the petition of former Taglimao barangay chairman William Guialani to order DILG-10 to execute the Ombudsman’s order.

Oh, Glenn Bañez… is he really ready and willing to spill the beans? That remains to be seen. A woman named Camille was almost ready to spill the beans when her relatives were sought to stop her. All means to pressure Camille’s family were exerted.

She came to us, we have a tapeecorded conversation. She presented documents but Moreno’s promises to accede to her demands made her change her mind. But the promises  remained as mere promises.

Her revelations would have been very compelling. Her role that was akin to a second mother to Moreno’s children. Moreno’s alleged romantic escapades included. We still look forward to her changing her mind.

Glenn is not likely to do that without the risk of being implicated. That would be self-incrimination. But if it’s a case of do or die or a case of damn-if-you-do-damn-if-you-don’t, then that would really be the day in the life of Oscar Moreno.

Would the elder Pimentel come to Moreno’s defense again? If so, that would define Pimentel’s character and demolish whatever respect is left of the people of Cagayan de Oro towards him. Why, because Moreno is not what he is as his allies and barkers would like to portray him to be.

My son just upgraded his Internet and I tell you, I am enjoying Youtube with our Smart TV to the max. After watching several National Geographic documentaries on Mother Earth, rainforest, animals on land and sea, the more I see the need to preserve the gifts of Mother Nature.

Environment Secretary Gina Lopez is doing a good job but those with vested interests despise her. Her ordeal at the Commission on Appointments (CA) would continue under those who have interests in the mining industry and from the mining companies.

Do not waver, Secretary Lopez, we are with you!

It’s been almost two months since our audience with DENR regional director Edwin Andot. There seems to be no action on the matters presented to him. Undersecretary Luna’s aerial discovery should have warranted a series of actions already considering the gravity of the situation that unfolded before her eyes.

Would Andot be like his predecessor who seemed to have given us the runaround? We’ll soon find out.
