City hall said the Department of Public Works and Highways will do a “week-long waterproofing work” on the bridge.

“Ysalina Bridge has been undergoing major rehabilitation works since last month but the upcoming waterproofing work needs total closure of the bridge since it involves putting a new layer or a waterproofing membrane on the bridge deck for more durability and longevity of the life of (the) bridge,” the advisory reads.

The affected public jeepney routes are Iponan, Bulua, NHA Subdivision, Kauswagan, Bayabas, Bonbon, Patag 6th Division-Apovel, Terry Hills, Camp Evangelista, and R-1/R-2 liners.
