THIS is as far as the list go. My informant said there will be more — more serious!

Frankly, I have a strong feeling some could be fake names. The uniqueness of some names, the pattern of given names, the number of people… well, I hope I am wrong. But I sincerely hope that if these people are real and are not getting their due, be brave to come out. If you are part of this scam, if ever it is, then you are guilty as accomplices to the crime.

I dare the Commission on Audit to take a look at this and check if there is something irregular.

Again, I also dare our city councilors, especially Mr. “Didn’t You Know,” to conduct an investigation instead of promoting oneself.

Last month’s electric bill was a little below P3 thousand after sacrificing the comfort of an air-conditioned room. Yet, without changing a self-imposed discipline, my next bill shot up to a little over P4 thousand. What went wrong, I wonder? Then I remembered one thing — there had been several disturbances in the electricity supply service of Cepalco.

Cepalco belied the contention that blackouts can increase monthly bills due to the surge in power when restored. Whatever it was, there has to be an explanation why my electric bill increased. I can’t figure it out. Sigh.

It looks like it is what it was during the time of Dongkoy Emano when Rio Verde got the bulk water supply contract with COWD that allegedly made some people richer.

The change of ownership from Rio Verde to Metropac seemed to have been done in utter secrecy. Some would call it “without consultation.” Would that again make some people richer? An employee of COWD I met at the grocery warned me about it. “Daghan nakasapi, Sir.”

Would it pave the way for a full control of the water system in the future? Those who claimed to know Mr. MVP say it’s a great possibility.

Those in the government love the term “privatization” because it always means fat envelopes especially when the deal is delivered on a silver platter.

Greed indeed has no limit.
