A MEMBER of the service crew of a fastfood here was arrested during a buy-and-bust operation on Pabayo St. in Divisoria on Thursday.

Police said Danilo Duria, 37, of Bolao, Barangay Iponan was arrested by operatives of the Divisoria police and the City Intelligence Unit. The suspect reportedly works at an establishment called Tapsi Time in the Divisoria area.

Senior Insp. Glenn Abalde, Divisoria police chief, said Duria was caught in possession of six packs of suspected shabu, weighing 6.90 grams with  estimated value of P41 thousand, and a marked P500-bill given by a police “asset” who posed as a shabu buyer.

According to the police, Duria was identified as the alleged drug supplier of a man whom the police had arrested earlier that day, also during a buy-bust operation on Pabayo St. in Barangay 4.

Police identified the other suspect as Richard Fabre, 40, of Amoros Eel Salvador, Misamis Oriental. He yielded a sachet of suspected shabu.

“Kini si Fabre mao ni ang sinaligan ni Duria ug iyang gitudlo nga maoy tig-supply niya og illegal drugs,” Abalde said.

He said the police were preparing to charge the two suspects with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
