Vice Mayor Roland Deticionga of Malaybalay City, chair of league said the league could not fully ascertain as to what kind of federalism is the Duterte administration is pushing.

To note, the idea of changing to a federal form of government has been pushed by Duterte, even before he became President, although the idea has still to be clarified.

Deticionga, though, added that they fully support the programs and agenda of President Rodrigo Duterte, like the war on drugs.
