MISAMIS Oriental Yevgeny Vincente Emano has announced that the provincial government would spend P180 million to upgrade a road that links Balingasag and Claveria towns. The project would start this month.
Emano announced this in Baliwagan, Balingasag where he broke ground for the 15.88-kilometer road project that would be completed in 425 days.
Baliwagan barangay chairman Ramonito Saarenas welcomed the project, saying it would make travel to and from Balingasag and Claveria much easier.
Saarenas said it would also allow people to have an alternative route from Balingasag to Gingoog City, vice versa.
Emano said, “Makatabang kining maong dalan puhon sa mga mag uuma sa pag-deliver sa ilang mga abot diha sa kamerkaduhan.” (edwin iyo)
