Ten days sessions of guitar and painting workshops were being facilitated at the Loreto’s Grill and Restaurant last April 22 to May 3, 2019. It’s a nice way to enjoy summer and beat the summer heat by learning new skills.

The students were being taught how to play guitar the basic way and the enrollees on painting were being taught the basics of drawing and applying colors.

During the workshops you can’t take fun away from the sessions; so there were a lot of laughing and experimenting on the melodies on the guitar and colors on the paintings. The painting workshop was facilitated by local artist and member of R Productions Mr. Sherwin Tagorda, he taught basics on drawings and taught how to draw human figures, anime and portraits, Sherwin also discussed basic on acrylic painting.

The students who enrolled and finished the painting program were; Aiyana Lesturi A. Datayan, Raphael Virgilio J. Galarrita, Cavril Andrew J. Galarrita , Rusty John V. Esparcia and Kayne Marysse C. Banzon.  Guitar class on the other hand were all jamming, the students being handled by guitar teacher Joseph Christian Rey Nocillado were all energetic in learning guitar, although fingers were adjusting on the frets of the guitar but the culmination mini concert last May 3, 2019 at Loreto’s were dynamic.

Students were playing good songs during the finale.  Guitar students are; Edward Aira Jake P. Samson, Joielle Michen M. Paler, Kiara Marie C. Banzon , Rain Godein Ranada   Arabella Sabina Q. Cuevas , Pauline Angelique G. Lozano, Luke Nino Angelo G. Lozano  and Marlo Alejandro M. Siojo.

Special thanks to Ms. Donna Ocampo for opening her restaurant to become an avenue for learning art. If you drop by Loreto’s you can feel that the ambience in itself are all artsy bitsy. Aside from good food being served, your eyes will feast on many crafts and all creative stuff being put up on nooks and corners on the place. Special thanks also to all parents who supported their children on learning creative skills. Happy Summer!
