Just days after their proclamation as official candidates of this year’s Miss Cagayan de Oro 2019, two candidates back out.
Candidates Adel Ebarat of Barangay Puntod and Veronica Valdez of Barangay Balulang decided not to push through joining the beauty tilt.
Ebarat, on her Facebook post, explained that her reason was because of a conflict of schedule, she apologized, and thanked her supporters.
“Sorry guys I can’t make it for miss cagayan de oro 2019 coz conflict sa mga schedules thank you sa mga support iloveyou??❤ ,” her post reads.
Miss Cagayan de Oro has yet to announce their replacements but would pull from the top 15 during the selection period in May.
