Iligan City — The City Assessor’s Office here has aired one of its principal concerns in the pursuit of its duties and responbilities.
Ma. Elena Rodora A. Jimena, head of the department said many of the personnel of her office are due for retirement this year.
Jimena is also up for retirement.
She did not say precisely how many of the personnel are retiring. This she revealed to media on the sidelines of the city’s flag raising ceremony at the amphitheater at Buhanginan Hills at the city hall grounds.
In response to the situation, Vice Mayor Jemar Vera Cruz enjoined the city human resource department to fast track its actions regarding hiring qualified personnel to the department so that the department will not have difficulty as regards its mandate of rendering services required.
This he said in his speech during the flag raising ceremony.
