FOUR persons suspected to be involved in illegal drugs, one of them owned a machine shop were arrested last week in separate operations of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo).

Suspect Jovane Casinillo, 32, a resident of Villaflora Subdivision, in Zone 2 Barangay Cugman and owner of a machine shop was arrested in a buy-and-bust operation last Wednesday around 12:10 noon, police said.

Chief Insp. Harvey Abellanosa, chief, of the Cogon police station, said recovered from the suspect’s possession were three sachets of suspected shabu worth P8,000.

The other two suspects arrested in another drug bust were identified as Jonaid Saro, 40, and Jamil Bulbak, 29, all residents of Villa Angela Subdivision in Barangay Balulang this city after they allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a police agent worth P300. Police said Saro and Bulbak, both jobless, were yielded three sachets of suspected shabu weighing two grams valued to P20,000.

According to Abellanosa, the three suspects were tagged as street-level and newly identified drug pushers.

Meanwhile, operatives of the Lumbia police station also caught Michael Bacullio, 35, of Upper Barangay Carmen.

Confiscated from the arrested suspect were five sachets of suspected shabu weighing four grams with an estimated amount to be of P24,000.

Arrested suspects are in the custody of the authorities including seized illegal drugs while criminal charges are set to be filed. (a.l. ricalde)
