Provincial board member Mercy Grace Acain said Emano would soon make known the complete set of Padayon Pilipino candidates in the province.

“Sa pagkakaron daghan pa changes ug wala pay final decision,” said Acain.

She said Emano has been focusing on project turnovers in Misamis Oriental’s 1st District, and he and other Padayon Pilipino members have yet to sit down and discuss their 2016 ticket.

Acain however said the list would include her, provincial board members Nancy Madjos and Susan Lagbas, and Gerardo Sabal, manager of the Don Gregorio Pelaez Sports Complex.

Vice Gov. Jose Ma. Pelaez said he would seeking reelection under Emano’s group.

“Daghan gahangyo kang, Gov, labi na sa District 2 pero sa pagkakaron wala pa jud desisyon,” said Acain.

She said the final list would be announced by Emano during the filing of certificates of candidacy next week.

But other names have also surfaced like provincial board member Jeremy Pelaez, Jerry Khu, and Cagayan de Oro Councilor President Elipe.

Meanwhile, provincial board member Heckert Emano confirmed that he would run for mayor in Tagoloan, the hometown of the governor. The board member and the governor are cousins.

“Ang party (Padayon Pilipino) nag-decide nga ako ang mudagan for mayor sa Tagoloan, and I accepted the challenge last Monday,” said provincial board member Emano.

Capitol spokesperson Allyn Penalosa said Gov. Emano has opted to keep mum on Padayon Pilipino’s ticket for now because he was focusing on his work in different Misamis Oriental barangays.
