misamis Oriental has conducted its yearound clean-up drive to avoid infestation of dengue mosquitoes.

This will be every first Friday of the month according to a statement sent by Provincial Administrator Jocelyn Mateo Lood.

The clean-up drive will be done in the entire vicinity of the Capitol including the park where the evacuees from Lagonglong have encamped.

Sarisa Acosta, spokesperson of the Tagtabulon tribe who is now in the capitol confirmed that there are three of their fellow evacuees who contracted dengue late last week.

Evacuees Junreyboy Hilogon and the other two, including a 13-year-old are currently being treated in the hospital, Acosta said.
