DAVAO CITY — Philippine National Police (PNP)-Region 11 Deputy Director for Operations Sr. Superintendent Aaron Aquino will convene the Special Inter-Agency Task Group Candy to determine charges against two Davao durian candy makers tagged in the manufacturing of candies that poisoned over a thousand students in several towns in Caraga region.

This developed after the Food and Drug Administration released Wednesday the six-page microbiological findings on the raw materials for candy manufacturing including ingredients and equipment and the work area taken from JJCM or Wendy’s and Blesse’s factory showing bacteria contamination due to mishandling of food preparation and hygiene problems.
