ACCORDING to President Abe Lincoln, “Public opinion, though often formed on a wrong basis, yet generally has a strong underlying sense of justice.” I dare say that both Mar Roxas and junior Sen. Grace Llamanzares are, without a doubt, on the same boat battered by rough and stormy seas that they are definitely going down to the bottom of the sea, instead of the port of their follies.

We all know that Roxas comes from a dynasty––a grandfather who was once a President of our country and he is the son of a former senator. And, since, chances are, you are like most Pinoys, a kind of a fanatic of teleseryes, then you will most likely agree that Grace is the daughter of you-know-who. Look at her ears and her pair of eyes (as shown on wide national TV screens during her much awaited presidential derby announcement the other day), and you would not miss the similarity. But why are they both on the same boat?

Both come from a dynasty––one based on a fact and the other on a teleserye, most likely.  However, here is the real score based on emerging views:
• Both Mar and Grace miserably failed on the issue of the massacre by the fully armed assassins of our country’s brave 44 SAF commandos.

On hand hand, everybody knows that Roxas was “out of the loop” in the entire failed fantasy by PNoy and his infamous Alan Purisima, then suspended chief of the PNP, yet he did not have the guts of a true leader to resign from his post and demanded impeachment, at the very least.

On the other hand, Grace hurriedly published her Senate inquiry findings alleging beyond the shadow of any doubt that PNoy was responsible for the heinous assassinations of our 44 brave SAF commandos who gave up their lives and the future of their loved ones and families. But we all know as well that the junior senator did nothing more.

Ergo, both Mar and Grace are dismal failures in leadership-in-action. Both are products of what is now known as “more of the same Imperial Manila mentality.”
• Both Mar and Grace are blindly riding high on the failed and much discredited slogan “Matuwid na daan” (Natuwad nga dalan, to Mindanaoans) which most if not, all Pinoys know as “selective justice” –quick to imprison the opposition but defend to the last breath plunderers in the cabinet and business cronies.

We all know that for decades now, Mindanao has abundantly supplied our country not just food but almost every other needs. But since time immemorial and thanks to the Imperial Manila mentality, the trapos and the filthy rich, we, Mindanaoans have always been excluded in all the presidential race. To them we are not just 2nd class citizens but their serfs. Enough of the Imperial Manila mentality and the culture of impunity!

Trust me, Rody Duterte’s ascendancy to the presidency is unstoppable because undoubtedly Mindanao’s impossible dream of dreams has become the idea that has come of age. Further, among all the presidential wannabes only “Du30” has the largest political base of 12.5 million voters in Mindanao––at least 80 percent of the Visayans are Cebuano-speaking voters and at the very least, the majority of the voters in Metro Manila are Cebuano-speaking adventurer-voters. Most of all, our dream of dreams is now embedded in every Mindanaoan all over the country.

Believe you me, the dawning of the New Order – equality between capital and labor and lasting peace and posterity in Mindanao––can only be attained if our country is headed by the most exciting Mindanaoan, Davao Mayor Rodrigo “Super Digong” Duterte.

Trust me with “dos por dos” donated and carried by the poor women and their children, the digital dagdag-bawas of 2010 and 2013 vintage – the PCOS (President Cory’s Only Son), the millions of pesos stashed from our government coffers, including but not limited to the millions of dollars in exchange for selling our sovereignty and human dignity, will definitely backfire on on Mar, Grace and VP Binay. The overwhelming victory of “Super Digong” and his entire team will show to the world that Mindanaoans have perfected People Power of 1986.

To prove that the idea of having a Mindanaoan as President of our country is now a phenomenon comparable to the “AlDub pa more’s AlDub nation” mania, all the announced “presidentiables” are losing business financiers on a daily basis even as financial donors are multiplying at the doorsteps of Super Digong. Our man, “Super Digong,” is turning them down because it is not money but warm bodies can change our country from the culture of impunity to the New Order.

Only a revolutionary government can save our country!  And, hopefully, Super Digong would find us worth fighting for.

Tsada, di ba?
