The Provincial Employment Service Office in Misamis Oriental has started its holding orientation yesterday, in two towns in the province, to the beneficiaries of the Special Program for the Employment of Students.

At least 898 beneficiaries—students and out-of-school-youth—undergo the orientation in Laguindingan for residents in the Second District and in Talisayan town for the First District before their 20-day deployment as Job Placement Facilitators, community skills mapping, and solicit job vacancies offered by private companies in Misamis Oriental for those jobseekers.

The beneficiaries will earn P2,400 from the Provincial Government and another P1,600 from the Department of Labor and Employment in Region 10.

Governor Yevgeny Vincente Emano hopes the beneficiaries would be serious in rendering public service to gain trust and confidence from the people whom they serve. A total of P2.2 million is allocated by the Provincial Government for the program. (pio misor)
