Camp Alagar spokesman Supt. Lemuel Gonda said the Police Regional Office seized a total of 670.28193 grams of suspected shabu in a span of 18 days. The confiscated substances have an estimated street value of P3.322 million.

Gonda said the entire illegal drugs haul also includes the 211.1089 grams of suspected shabu the operatives of Police Station 1 in Divisoria confiscated when it arrested Nobaisa Tanggo at Villa Candida, Barangay Bulua, this city, on March 19.

Tanggo, the police said, has been in the list of “high value targets” because she was allegedly among the top suppliers of shabu in the city and Misamis Oriental.

Chief Supt. Agripino Javier, police director for Region 10, lauded the efforts of the police in the region calling it “extreme efforts to clear the barangays in northern Mindanao of illegal drugs.”

Javier also lauded the support of communities by way of giving information about illegal drug suspects.
