WHO’S afraid of going to jail? It seems the LPs are.

The grand design is to make Liberal Party candidates win, no matter the cost. The money is huge, bottomless, and it doesn’t matter where the money came from. It continues to come. Otherwise, many of them might go to jail via vendetta or the natural course of justice.

Mar Roxas has been perceived as a weak candidate. He still is no matter how LP sells him, dresses him or buoys him. The kindhearted, quite a few of them, admonish him to shed off the yellow color and be his own man. He had his chance but he blew it. There’s been too much about friendship and loyalty.

They threw everything against the Binays but their members are just as guilty. They want Grace Poe disqualified when many in their line are morally not qualified. As if these are not enough, they want Smartmatic to do the trick. And here we are, silent about its possibility.

Pera o priso? This seem to be the gist of that meeting (kuno) at a posh hotel in Manila. Are we to expect that the election is over even before it begins?

The people’s candidate, Rodrigo Duterte, is said have had second thoughts about filing his COC because he suspected the election is over. Here in CDO, Oscar Moreno is said to have been given one task only––make it appear he is strong, popular and credible. The LP will do the rest.

Now, some people are going to initiate moves that will create a lot of noise and exposes. Their main agendum, make the election credible, and truly the voice of the people no matter who wins.

They don’t want to see somebody win in the elections, and want Moreno to get proclaimed. Make the little maya soars like and eagle or a kitten roars like a tiger. Modern technology can make it happen. It can happen if we, the people, just stare, tightlipped.

The LP is out to buy the nation, and rule. So what makes it any different from KBL?

Goodbye, Dongkoy! It’s not sweeter the second time around. Goodbye, Rufus! You can always try another day. Welcome, Oca! The LP’s mayor, not ours. God forbid!

Talking of Hapsay, just take a look at Cogon. If I were a businessman, I will move elsewhere. The whole front of a line of business establishments has been occupied by street vendors. How do you expect people with cars to enter? You don’t believe it? You don’t see it? I have a photo of it.

Is this an offshoot of the coming election? Pasagdi na sila kay mawad-an ta ug boto. Or is it simply a sign of the second coming of the Lord of City Hall.

Dongkoy promised to bring back the Night Café in Divisoria but with a different scheme. Still, it sounds like the same dog with a different collar. Would Kagay-anons allow that?

Moreno or Hapsay will do nothing to stop them. It’s open season for violators. How do they say it? Violate pa more?

Nepotism – the practice among those in power or influence of favoring relatives or friends especially by giving them jobs.

Sometimes we raise hell against dynasties but not nepotism. Isn’t the two a bit similar?
