ZAMBOANGA City-– A boy was killed when two trees were uprooted and cryshed a nipa hut amid inclement weather in Zamboanga Sibugay.
Insp. Dahlan Samuddin, Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) information officer, identified the victim as Ken Raven Celebrado, six, who died of head injuries.
Samuddin said the incident occurred around 3 pm Wednesday at Purok 4, Barangay Maganay, Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Samuddin said Celebrado, a 1st grader, was asleep when the boy was pinned to death after two star apple trees crashed on top of the nipa hut. (pna)
