The 19th City Council has adopted a resolution endorsing the proposed procurement of one ambulance in the amount of P3 million.
This will be funded under the allocation of the city, in accordance with the Local Budget Circular.
In his letter to the City Council, City Mayor Oscar Moreno expressed the city’s interest to avail of the allocation for the city under the guidelines on the release and utilization of the Local Government Support Fund.
He said this is one of the requirements for submission to Department of Budget and Management.
The mayor said the proposed project was already approved by the City Development Council as part of the city’s approved Annual Investment Program 2019.
The procurement of equipment of basic life support was certified urgent by Mayor Moreno and Vice Mayor Uy. (sp)
