The Department of Agriculture Region 10 yesterday launched its 6th installment of Organic Trade Fair with the theme “Organikong Agrikultura sa Kumikitan Kabuhayan para sa Kalusugan at Kapaligian” or “OA sa 4K’s” at SM City Cagayan de Oro.
The launching was lead by City Agriculture, Dr. Hector San Juan, RED Carlene CPA, RTD Carlota Madriaga, RTD Carmelita Bajarla MBA formally launches the 6th Regional Organic Fair at SM City Cagayan de Oro. The said fair is slated to run until Sunday, October 27 and is joined by over 30 organic farmers and associations from all over Mindanao showcasing their harvested products in this 3-day activity.

Department of Agriculture Region 10, RTD Carlota Madriaga shared, that the 3-day activity would greatly benefit the farmers that joined the activity because their booths are rent-free and they are allowed to sell their products at SM City until Sunday.

She also encourages everyone to come and visit the participants booth and purchase products at an affordable price, stressing that the products displayed are organic and are much more healthier.

(FOCPC), Glenalbee Mushroom Farm, Kauswagan Organic Farmers Federation, Cenyu Whole Food, Mang Kiko’s Cacao CDO, Organic Trading Post (OTP) Kapatagan, Bolisong Cogon Agriculture Farmers Associatio (BCSAFA), Agay-Ayan MPC, CNQ Agri Ventures, Noah Kakao at Kape Inc., 4H Young Farmer (Beltran Farm), Nas Agricom Ent.

For his part City Agriculture Officer Dr. Hector San Juan during his opening remarks congratulated the Agri department for holding the said event that would showcase the plentiful bounty of this city as well as other parts of Mindanao.
