THE implementation of another socialized housing project is in the offing.
This, after the City Council approved the application of the city government for Development Permit of the Cagayan de Oro Settlement and Socialized Housing Project-3 in Iponan.
The site has an area of 22,949 square meters containing 263 lots.
Like other subdivision projects, the city government is required to submit the plan to the Land Management Sector of DENR for verification and approval of the field survey returns. Said plans together with the approval documents shall be submitted to the Housing Land Use and Regulatory Board to support the application for registration of the subdivision.
As required, the project shall conform to the minimum design standard set forth in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations of BP 220 and RA 7279 in HLURB 2008.
The ordinance was endorsed by the committees on subdivision and landed estate and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Edgar Cabanlas and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively. (sp)
