As articulated by CARD MRI Managing Director Flordeliza Sarmiento, “We make sure to provide immediate relief assistance to heavily affected families to help them start rebuilding their homes and provide essential needs when disaster hit them.”

“As soon as we heard that the typhoon will hit the country, we immediately initiated our disaster management protocols,” Sarmiento added.

The Sagip Plan is a family insurance package that includes three insurance benefits: personal accident, the funeral benefit of the principal member of the family, legal spouse, and two children, rehouse for the damaged of the house due to fire and natural calamities such as typhoon, flood, and earthquake.

The said insurance product is one of the products being offered by CARD MRI Insurance Agency, Inc. (CaMIA), a member institution of CARD MRI that offers life and non-life insurance products.

The CARD MRI preparedness in terms of bringing fast calamity assistance is due to “family spirit”, one of the group’s core values being instilled by the organization to its officers and staff as well as to its members.

“We are also very thankful for the support of CARD staff and clients who shared their time and lent their hands in helping the affected communities,” Sarmiento emphasized.

She concluded that there are no tough problems and strong calamities that can shatter a group of people with a family spirit. (Card/PR)
