Cagayan de Oro Extension Office continued to operate and accept clients for concerns or inquiries despite the strict measures implemented to stop the spread of the coronavirus disease.

With its new skeletal schedule, daily operating hours were adjusted to 9:00AM up to 3:00PM only.

However, relative to the implementation of RA 11649 or (The Bayanihan to heal as one Act), requiring strict compliance to social distancing and stay at home measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19 transmission.

SEC Cagayan de Oro has set up an online platform for the following applications:

(1) Review of Company Registration System (CRS) manual applications for 5 or more incorporators can be done via email by sending the scanned or clear photographed copies of CRS applications to seccdoeo@gmail.com whereas the approved CRS applications are advised to disregard this instruction;

(2) Registration of One Person Corporation (OPC) and corporation with 2-4 incorporators may now register online through this link: https:apps//apps04.sec.gov.ph:8001/application. Applicants must ensure to input a valid email address; and

(3) Application for amendment may be submitted at seccdoeo@gmail.com with the following attachments (a) scanned or clear image of the Amended Articles of Incorporation or By-laws, (b) Director’s Certificate, (c) Secretary’s Certificate and (d) Latest Financial Statement (FS) and General Information Sheet (GIS) for monitoring purposes.

For residents outside Cagayan de Oro who wish to submit their applications or any other relevant documents physically, SEC encourages them to do so after the Enhanced Community Quarantine is lifted.

Thus, SEC CDOEO still enjoins everyone to observe preventive measures in fighting COVID-19 implemented by the government. (SEC-CDO)
