ILIGAN City ― In a rare message heard on-air through a radio station here yesterday, Mayor Celso G. Regencia enjoined everybody to have themselves vaccinated.
This is so, he said in order that everybody would be free to go around so that churches, public transports, malls, and others could be used at 100 percent to accept them.
“We will all have freedom in our movements,” he said adding “So that come new year 2022, we will be back to our old normal.”
He enjoined people “not to believe in zombie stories” obviously referring to rumors circulating around that you will become a zombie after getting the vaccines.
He added the city is “far from its target.” Although, he did not elaborate.
