The growth of the company has been steady, from its humble beginnings over the past decade to what it is today. With a workforce of almost 500 strong, it has provided job opportunities during the pandemic through its work-from-home arrangement and will further increase its manpower through this launching.

“The opening of this Recruitment Hub means so much to SupportZebra, because this hub would provide a better opportunity for employment for all the people of Cagayan de Oro. This will put SZ in a better position to compete in the industry, likewise keeping and expanding its visibility so that more people will know that we are a Kagay-anon-grown company and we are determined to grow and ensure our expansion of opportunities in Cagayan and other nearby areas,” VP for HR and Admin Raymond Gutual said.

Regarding the growth of the company in the coming months – according to its Vice President in Operations, Khalil Rellin, he is optimistic that they would meet the goal that the company has set in motion “We will reach the 500 mark or more.”

“We will breach the 500 or more (employees). Karon nga year among ga-trabahoon ang sales and out CEO is set to boost our client base. Hopefully ma-close namo ang mga deals this year, dali ragyud ma-abot ang 500 in one deal,” said Rellin.

As of the moment, the training hub of SuppportZebra is located at its main office in Osmeña Extension, and this building. Rellin clarified that although it was already a recruitment hub in the first place, with the expansion it has become a more flexible office that could house multi-tasking for the company.

Aside from the opening, they have already started to expand their offices in a prominent area in One Providence. Thus, the company’s move to open an independent office that would handle the boost of potential prospects smoothly and efficiently to facilitate the transition.

During the event, CEO Nathan Yap, who joined the occasion after 3 years of being away from the company due to the pandemic, expressed his gratitude to the people who have supported the company and its core values.

“Heart-warming, it was really nice to see the city alive. I have been keeping updates on how the city was from where I was (USA) during the full lockdown (CDO). It was heart-warming to see everybody thriving and growing, and it was great to see the team that I haven’t seen in 3 years,” Yap said.

Adding, “Our biggest priority is to finalize our transition to a work-from-home-first company. By the end of this year, 60% of our team will be working from home. In the coming years, our goal is to be the largest BPO here in the city in the next 3 to 5 years,” he concluded.
