A Cagayan de Oro resident was arrested for illegal possession of drugs in a buy-bust operation yesterday at 6:10 pm.

Police Major Julius Saluta, police station 2 commander, identified the suspect as Ian Paumar, 29, single, and residing at Sitio Punta, Barangay Bonbon of the said city.

He was nabbed by Cogon operatives led by Saluta in Purok 2, Sta. Cruz, Barangay Camaman-an of the same city.

Confiscated from the suspect were 14 pieces of sachets containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P13,600, weighing two grams, and a P500 buy-bust money.

The said operation was in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-10.
