The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental, led by Governor Peter “Sr. Pedro” M. Unabia, recently conducted the groundbreaking and capsule-laying ceremony for the Child Development Center in Barangay Aromahon, Laguindingan, through the Provincial Office of Early Childhood Care and Development (PECCD).

More than three million funds have been earmarked for the project, and it is expected to be completed within one hundred (100) days.

The event was attended by Governor Peter Unabia, Chief of Staff Sheena Faelnar, Laguindingan Mayor Diosdado Obsioma, Barangay Aromahon Chairman Edna Fabria, Provincial Engineer Engr. Prisco Valmoria, PECCD Head Ms. Maryden Ocot, and local officials of the barangay.

The Child Development Center stands as one of the priority projects of Mayor Obsioma and Barangay Chairman Fabria.

Barangay Chairman Fabria expressed gratitude for Governor Unabia’s initiative in this project, emphasizing its significance as a safe and proper facility for children’s learning and development.

This initiative aligns with the Governor’s PAGLAUM Development Agenda, emphasizing the mobilization of resources through equitable sharing.
