ZAMBOANGA City– Three children were charred to death in a fire that razed a two-storey house recently in an east coast barangay of this city.
Anastacio Cabayacruz, barangay chairman of Tictapul, identified the victims as Abdul Aziz Tunga, 12; Abdulatip Tunga, 10; and, Alih Tunga, eight.
Tictapul is located 85.85 kilometers east of City Hall and the second to the last barangay of this city towards the province of Zamboanga Sibugay.
Cabayacruz said investigation showed the fire started at the second floor of the house owned by Haber Kaligiran and occupied by couple, Nulsi and Myrna Tunga, and their three children. Nulsi is the son-in-law since his wife, Myrna,is Kaligiran’s daughter. pna
