No matter how much you deny this fact, Filipinos were born with so much love for love stories and anything in between that spectrum of diehard hopeless romantics yearning for that dream partner, all wrapped up in a cute bow made by cupid. However, we also sometimes go for the more realistic stuff, like the gut wrenching betrayal of long-term couples, the infidelity of our most beloved characters, the death of a relationship and other things that really do happen to normal people’s relationship over time. Which makes this year’s much awaited movie – A Love Affair. Starring Richard Gomez, Dawn Zulueta and Bea Alonzo, the plot provides such an exciting sit down. Who still remembers ‘super kilig’ moments and love scenes between the classic loveteam Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta? But unlike their lovers being torn apart, these two tore themselves apart because of Dawn’s infidelity which eventually lead Richard into Bea’s arms and heart.
I really hope this, the story goes pretty far; to really explore and expose why someone would actually commit adultery and would that give you the enough fire to fight fire with fire? Or is it a sign to move on? I am really expecting for this movie to be more than just your regular “kabit” plot.
